About
Gary Jennings
Gary Jennings is a founder and international director with more than 35 years working with innovators, owners, founders, start-ups and scale-ups. His career spans senior roles in global organizations through to founding his own start-ups in the technology sectors. This gives him a perspective equally at home in a large corporate boardroom and the early-stage reality of a business finding its feet.
From boardrooms to start-ups
Gary has led international capital projects and built business models across multiple sectors, from health and medtech to sustainability and organic foods. He spent years working directly with founders, owners and innovators to turn strong ideas into credible, scalable businesses. That mix, big-company rigor and small-company resourcefulness, is the lens the book is written through.
A published author
His previous books include Building Business with Agents and Distributors and How to Register a Trademark in the UK and Europe Without Using a Lawyer, both practical guides written with the same no-agency, no-unnecessary-expense philosophy that runs through this one. He was a contributing author on a policy briefing paper examining digital innovation in the UK's NHS, and studied Business Administration to MBA dissertation level. In 2011 he attended the Queen's Royal Garden Party in recognition of his contribution to business and innovation.
Why he wrote Be the AI Answer
Too many strong businesses are invisible to the customers and investors who are already looking for them. Search moved to AI faster than most founders noticed, and the advice on offer was written for big marketing teams with budgets to match. Gary wrote the book he wanted to hand a founder: a method you can run yourself, this week, that makes AI name your business when it matters.
